The Stedelijk Museum
The Stedelijk Museum is a famous museum for international modern and contemporary art and design from the early 20th century up to the 21st century. The new BASE permanent exhibition designed by Rem Koolhaas, features artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Wassily Kandinsky, Henri Matisse, Kasimir Malevitch, Piet Mondriaan, Jackson Pollock, Karel Appel, Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, Bruce Naumann, Marlene Dumas and Rineke Dijkstra. The integrated design collection features glass, ceramics, jewelry, posters, printed matter, and textiles from 1900 to the present: Berlage, Arne Jacobsen, Gispen, and Gerrit Rietveld.
