The fact that the Netherlands is attracting a great deal of international attention within the world of design is no longer a secret. ARTTRA is organising an inspirational design day in Amsterdam, along the lines of Droog design , special locations for ‘design classics’ and experimental design. We are then making an exclusive visit to the Frozen Fountain , a concept in design policy since 1985. Frozen Fountain not only sells classics but also exhibits the latest trends and rising talent within the area of interior and design. Co-director and founder; Cok de Rooij gives us a glimpse behind the scenes of this exceptional shop gallery. To end: a walking dinner at a contemporary location with the gift of a design gadget.
DESIGN, design! An all year round option
Painter’s workshop ‘Romantic (city) landscape’
Museum De Hermitage exhibits work from the German master of the Romantic movement , Caspar David Friedrich . The paintings originate from the main museum in St Petersburg. In his work, Friedrich stressed the futility of man by evoking a divine, mysterious feeling of beauty.
In combination with the tour through the Hermitage, ARTTRA also provides the workshop ‘ The romantic city landscape’. The fact that Amsterdam, with its watery surroundings evokes a romantic beauty needs no further explanation! From the Hermitage, you take a tour (with drink) of the Amstel and the picturesque canals of Amsterdam. Filled with inspiration, you get off at a studio. There, you all get to work on a large painting under the theme ‘Amsterdam, the city on the water’.
Amsterdam - Hermitage, 20 September to 18 January 2009
Visit the art collector Peter van der Heijden
ARTTRA will organise an exclusive visit for your guests to an artist and private collector. Alongside autonomous work, Peter van der Heijden also takes on projects in public areas. As well as a unique collection of art work, Van der Heijden’s studio and home on Prinseneiland also accommodates an amazing collection of natural objects.
The artist will receive you at home, tell you all about his fascination with nature, his art objects and his collection as a source of inspiration. Van der Heijden will show you a special world that will certainly inspire your guests and acquaintances.
Visits are possible in combination with a boattour till March 2009
Relationship marketing on the theme of art and culture
ARTTRA came up with a completely new concept for a recruitment and consulting advice agency that was celebrating its anniversary and allowed young photographers to create images of the balance between work and private life of the employees over a year. Each photographer followed a person appointed by the advice agency. The result: beautiful photographs, two receptions for the external contacts in the photography museum Foam in Amsterdam and the Gem in The Hague and the free publication ‘Only Human, the new work’, an interesting vision of people at work and within their private environments.
ARTTRA can also develop a relationship marketing concept with the theme of art and culture for your company. Good for your company and, as a socially involved enterprise, you can also encourage artists!
‘Only Human, the new work’ is available via bol.com and in book shops.
